“ Landscapes and Gardens of Tuscany” 26 June – 2 July 2011, with British artist and “The Florentine” contributor Rea Stavropoulos

The artist Rea Stavropoulos held a watercolour painting course in the gardens of Villa Il Palmerino for a week from Monday 3 October 2011 until Friday 7 October 2011. The course took place in the mornings and was open to both beginners and more experienced painters. The small group (a maximum of 7 students) allowed Rea to give individual attention according to each person's needs. During the week, Rea gave an informal talk about her work in the Salon of Villa Il Palmerino to the students and other guests, showing and explaining, through a temporary exhibition, different approaches to painting in watercolour.
